Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! I utilize Headway to bill insurance and am in network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Oscar, & Oxford. If I am out of network with your insurance, I can provide a super bill for you to submit to your carrier for possible reimbursement.

What if I don't have insurance?

Effective May 1, 2025 my self pay rate is $150 per 55 minute session. If finances are a barrier to receiving treatment, please let me know and we will work together to find a solution.

Do you offer in person sessions?

Yes! I have a private office space located inside of Her Facility, Mont Belvieu's first women centered co-working space. The address is 6002 FM 3180 Rd, Suite 280 Office 107, Baytown, TX 77523. During business hours, clients are welcome to enter through the main facility doors and have a seat in the community lounge. At your scheduled appointment time, I will come get you to walk you back to my private office. Please be advised, per Her Facility policy, children are not permitted in the community lounge. If this poses an issue to your ability to access sessions, please let me know so that we can discuss alternative options, including telehealth.

What kind of services do you offer?

I offer individual therapy (no family or couples, sorry!) utilizing various treatment modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also utilize mindfulness based interventions, DBT skills, as well as psychodynamic and solution focused therapy. When creating your treatment plan, I will provide my recommendations. However, you are ultimately in charge of your treatment and make the final call.

What kinds of things do you treat?

The majority of my clinical training was in treating PTSD because of where I was working (The UT Health Science Center Trauma & Resilience Center). However, since going into private practice (and having more freedom and autonomy), I now also work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, and perinatal/postpartum mood disorders. One of my primary areas of focus is late identified ADHD/Autistic folks.

What ages do you work with?

I provide therapy for persons 12 years and older.

What is your stance on diversity, equity, and inclusion in mental health?

I am committed to serving all members of our diverse community with acceptance, respect, and dignity. I am dedicated to providing an environment where equity, inclusion, and mutual respect are practiced and encouraged. My goal is to make clients from all walks of life feel seen, valued, and supported.

What if I have other questions?

Please contact me via your preferred method (text, phone call, email, or webpage contact submission form) and I will do my best to answer your questions within 48 business hours. If you do not hear back from me within that time period, feel free to send me a gentle reminder/follow up!
